The house rules

RallyViz is a free, personal, non-commercial project: a museum, not a service. It is provided as-is, with no warranty and no uptime promise; exhibits may change or the whole site may go dark while something is rebuilt. Match data is charted by hand by volunteers, and while every score is machine-verified against its own points, occasional charting errors can survive. Nothing here is a betting, statistical, or historical record you should rely on.

The data license

All match data comes from the Match Charting Project by Jeff Sackmann / Tennis Abstract, licensed CC BY-NC-SA 4.0. Everything RallyViz builds from it is an adaptation and carries the same license: the JSON files under /data/, the share cards, the replay clips. In plain language, if you reuse any of it:

• Credit the source. Keep the attribution to the Match Charting Project (crediting RallyViz too is appreciated, not required).
• Stay non-commercial. No selling it, no ads around it, no paid products built on it. RallyViz is non-commercial under the same terms: the match data that powers it is licensed CC BY-NC-SA, and the museum honors that license fully.
• Share alike. Whatever you make from it must be shared under this same license.

No affiliation

RallyViz is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the ATP, WTA, ITF, any tournament, or any player. Player and tournament names appear only to describe historical matches factually.

Don't be that visitor

Enjoy the museum, share the exhibits, take the data, all under the license above. Don't strip attribution, misrepresent the site as official tennis data, or hammer the host. Privacy is covered on its own page.
